You may look ridiculous, but--- when buying brussel sprouts do as the cook at our day care center does - feel the bag and get the smallest ones possible, they are the sweetest.

These frozen ones are blanched and then frozen resulting in a faster cooking time.

Cook or steam after cutting the "x" in the bottom. Serve with a little melted butter.
